Rotate the camera to aim the cue and knock your balls into the pockets.
- Game Basics
- Select if you want to play against a second player on your computer or a robot.
- Click on the screen to choose which ball you are aiming the cue at and adjust your shot angle.
- Click near the cue and pull back to set your cue strength (as shown on the left side) and release.
- Be sure your shot angle did not shift while pulling the cue back, or readjust it if it did.
- This game offers dashed white and green guidelines which will show where the cue ball will go on its path across the table until it strikes the second ball and the angle where the second ball will go.
- The guide paths can be good for helping to teach kids physics.
- Unfortunately the guide paths only show how the first ball will respond to being struck by the cue and do not show how they would impact a second or third ball.
- 8 Ball
- One player will be solids and the other player will be stripes.
- Whoever makes the first ball in gets to be that ball type while the other player is the other ball type.
- Players try to get all their balls into the side or corner pockets, then finish with the 8 ball after all the other solids or stripes are in the pockets.
- Typically if the cue ball follows the 8 ball into a pocket that is considered a scratch and the player loses, though this game ends as soon as the 8 ball goes in the pocket.

This game simulates pool or billiards, in particular, the 8 ball game. It has a total of 15 balls. 7 are striped while 7 come in solid colors. The player who scores a ball first gets assigned a group of balls. For example, if player 1 puts a solid number 2 ball in a hole first, they have to hit and shoot all solid colored balls. Likewise, player 2 will have to hit and shoot all striped balls in the hole. If you shoot a ball that is not assigned to you, it is considered a foul. In which case, you do not get a point. You basically shot your opponent’s ball, making it easier for them to clear their set. The goal is to finish your assigned balls the fastest. Once you clear all your balls, you can shoot the black 8 ball. Whoever shoots the 8 ball first wins.
The game is tricky because the angle tends to shift. You may think you got it right, but it changes a bit when you pull back. This part of the game can get frustrating, but is remedied with practice. I appreciate how the balls move in a realistic trajectory . I think it’s a good way to study angles when you’re serious about pool. The invisible ball and lines also help you visualize the direction of the ball. It’s just hard to maintain the angle. Even gauging the force you need when you take a shot. But overall, a really interesting and engaging game.
