• Starting the Game
  • The game’s welcome screen has a lot going on. 🙂
    • In the upper right corner there are buttons for music control, sound control, and developer info.
    • In the lower left corner you can change the game language between English, French, Italian, Spanish, Portuguese, and Turkish.
    • On the right side there is a story mode of the game with 20 levels of increasing difficulty.
      • When you click into the story mode of the game it sends you to the level select screen.
      • Each level must be beat to unlock the next level.
        • Even if you want to replay the current level make sure to first click through to the next level and enter it so it will remain unlocked.
        • If you do not enter the subsequent level initially then you will have to beat the current level again to open up the next level.
      • You are graded on 1 to 3 stars for each level based on how many moves it takes you.
      • You can go back to previously beaten levels to try to score a higher rating.
    • Underneath the story mode there are buttons for 3 different challenge modes
      • Kindergarten Weeps (easy)
      • School Bullies (medium)
      • University Carnage (difficult)
  • Your web browser automatically stores your beat levels and rating on them.

• Game Play
  • Your goal is to change the color of the connectors between the eggs from red (or pink, depending on your monitor settings!) to green.
    • To do this, none of the graph edges which connect the nodes should cross one another.
    • Connectors should be linked between one another through the eggs.
  • Solving the puzzle
    • Click and drag the eggs to the proper position.
  • Once you’ve moved all the eggs to a valid location, the entire clutch will glow.
    • Click on each of the eggs to hatch them.
    • Tip: It is possible to solve the problem by making the eggs overlap. This can make it hard for you to hatch all the eggs. Make sure all the eggs are visible or tap everything twice to be sure.
  • The win screen will show the mama alien and one of her babies doing something funny.
    • To unlock the next level, click next. Otherwise, the next level stays locked and you have to solve it all over again.
  • The game bases your star rating on the number of moves you make. The fewer moves you make, the better your score.
    • Depending on the puzzle, there can be more than one valid configuration. Some configurations will take fewer moves than others.
    • Don’t be afraid to use trial and error on your first go. You can always revisit a level later.
    • A move does not count until you release the mouse button, so you can drag a particular egg to many different positions in a single movement without it counting as multiple moves as long as you keep the mouse button pressed.

  • In spite of using the word “kindergarten”, the logic puzzles in this game get difficult rather quickly.
    • People of all ages who love math and logic puzzles should love this game, though it might be difficult for young children to get past more than a couple stages without needing help.
