• Starting the Game
  • Select the gray PLAY button on the game’s welcome screen to play the game, or press the blue SPEEDRUN button to play through in speed run mode.
    • You must beat the game in regular mode to unlock the speed run feature.
  • The welcome screen has a sound control button in the upper right & a CONTINUE button between the PLAY and SPEEDRUN buttons.

    • Press the left and right arrow keys to move left and right.
    • Press the spacebar to jump.
    • Press the control key to shoot an arrow.
    • You can also place your mouse cursor over a button and left click it to use the buttons, though this can be difficult in areas where you have to rapidly make multiple moves like fighting enemies and then jumping for a key.
  • Touchscreen devices
    • Use the on screen controls.
      • The move left & move right buttons are in the lower left corner.
      • The A and B buttons are in the lower right corner. A shoots and arrow and B jumps.

  • Arrows
    • Arrows are the perfect multi-function tool in this game. They allow you to:
      • create temporary ledges which you can land on
      • boost your jump height when you jump on them
      • block / reflect streams of fireballs
      • create horizontal flying platforms which bounce back and forth (when they hit pink targets)
      • defeat enemies
    • You can only fire 2 arrows at any given time & when you fire a third arrow it means the first arrow disappears from the screen.
    • On the final level a wave of green arrows appears on the screen. You can ride these arrows across the screen and then shoot an arrow of your own to use as a platform. The green arrows do not give you the jump bounce your arrows does, but they also will not hurt you.
  • Dying
    • Most enemies can be killed with a single arrow, but you also die from a single hit. If you run into bats, knights, or fire you die.
    • This game offers unlimited continues.
    • When you die you start at the beginning of the level you were on.
  • Levels
    • This game has 15 levels which you play through sequentially.
    • Each level has a unique design. Some have shooting fire, others have bats, and others still have rising lava. The strategy for beating each level is unique.
  • Strategy
    • This game requires a bit of trial and error to figure out. The main thing to is only 2 of your arrows can appear on the screen at any time.
    • If you get stuck on a level consider unique ways to use your arrows.
      • Can you shoot an enemy with an arrow and use that as a temporary ledge to jump off of to jump over a fire, collect a key, or both?
