• Starting the Game
  • Left click on the play button in the center of the welcome screen to bring up the level select screen.
    • Levels are unlocked sequentially.
    • Your web browser automatically saves your game progress.
  • The upper left corner of the welcome screen has buttons for music control, sound control, game developer information, and erasing your game progress.

  • Basics
    • This is a logic platforming game where you must change the states of various switches to help the blob make it to the diamond while avoiding spikes and clouds.
    • Switch status
      • Switches that are turned off are dull and the arrows on them do not move. When you walk across them they have no impact on your journey unless you change their status.
      • Switches that are turned on are brighter colors and show moving arrows.
  • Hazards
    • There are two types of hazards in this game: spikes and clouds.
    • Spikes – these do not move but instantly defeat you if you touch them. Most spikes are on the floors, though some can be on walls or ceilings.
    • Clouds – these move back and forth on particular platforms at a regular speed. Time your moves to avoid coming in with them.
  • Switch Types
    • Purple – if the arrows are pointing the opposite direction you are moving they cause you to switch the direction you are walking if you cross them while they are active.
    • Pink – these cause you to jump when you cross them while they are active.
    • Orange – if you activate one while standing atop it that will cause you to keep your current movement direction, but pause in place until you change the switch status.

    • This game has 25 stages which are unlocked sequentially.
      • You can go back and replay previously beat levels anytime.
    • Winning vs losing
      • You beat a level by safely making it to the gem on the stage.
      • You lose a level if you run into spikes or a cloud.
      • This game offers unlimited continues, starting you at the beginning of any failed level.
  • Tips
    • Clouds
      • On the levels with clouds you have to time your initial moves based on their movement patterns, so that you can make it to the next safe area before they turn back on you.
      • Stop on the orange areas outside of the path of the clouds & then time the next cloud’s path before making your next movement.
    • General
      • Many stages require backtracking.
      • Some pink switches need turned off so they don’t throw you into spikes & some need turned off until you are headed in the correct direction so you jump the right way.
    • Plan your route in advance before initiating movements.
      • When you do switch the status of switches think one or two steps ahead with your route planning so that the next switch is correctly positioned in time.
      • On some levels you can set the status of the pink jump blocks well in advance, whereas on others you need to be on the jump blocks while activating them to make the jump.
      • On some stages you need to reset the switch status while in midair to change the direction you move while in midair.
