• Starting the Game
  • Select the purple play button in the center of the screen.
    • Your web browser automatically saves your high score.
  • The welcome screen contains a sound control button in the lower right & a more games button in the lower left.
• Game Controls
  • Desktop
    • Use your mouse left click button to select on the screen to direct the cat to attack incoming ghosts.
  • Touchscreen devices
    • Tap the screen with a finger to attack the ghosts.
  • Controls & indicators
    • The game has a pause button in the lower left corner. When the game is paused it shows a menu with a sound control button & a go back to home screen button.
    • Across the bottom of the game it shows how many lives you have remaining, your current cumulative game score, the master’s sleep percentage, how much time is left in the night, and what night you are on.
• Game Play
  • Dying
    • You die whenever the master’s sleep gets to zero percent.
      • when sleep percent is below 100% at the end of a night the lower percent carries forward to the following night.
    • You get three lives per game.
      • Whenever you continue your score remains but you start back on the first night with sleep at 100%.
  • Scoring
    • Your game score is cumulative across all nights & all lives.
    • If you make multiple moves in a row it activates a score bonus multiplier which is shown in the upper left of the game.
    • Early in the game on the first night there is a single ghost type, but as you advance through the game a variety of ghost types emerge. Ghosts have various sizes, damage strength, movement patterns, and point values.
  • Tips
    • Ghosts drain sleep quality quickly, so attack whichever ghosts are closest to the sleeper first.
    • You are not punished for misses and move quickly, so a person who plays quickly and taps many times will likely perform better than a player who tries to play with high precision but moves slower.
