• Starting the Game
  • Tap anywhere on the loading screen to bring up the welcome screen.
  • Press the play button in the lower center of the welcome screen to bring up the level select screen.
    • Levels are unlocked sequentially.
    • Your web browser automatically saves your game progress.
  • The upper left corner of the welcome screen has a full screen mode button.
  • The upper right corner of the welcome screen has a sound control button.
• Game Controls
  • Desktop
    • Use your mouse cursor to move the dinosaur icon left or right, then left click to drop it.
  • Touchscreen devices
    • Tap the screen with a finger and drag your finger across the screen to determine where you want to drop a dinosaur icon, then left to drop it.
  • Controls & indicators
    • The upper left corner has a button to go to the level select screen and shows what level number you are currently playing.
    • Underneath the level number is an indicator which depicts what dinosaur comes next.
    • In the lower left corner there is a goal menu, which shows what dinosaur you need to create & how many of that dinosaur you have already created (made dinosaurs shake slightly).
    • The top center shows what dinosaur you are currently dropping.
    • The red line is a limit line. If you go over it you have a few seconds to make enough merges to get the dinosaurs all below that line.
    • The right side has a 1 to 12 key of the dinosaurs.
• Game Play
  • Basics
    • This is a 2048-inspired merging game where you drop dinosaur icons into play.
      • When 2 identical dinosaurs touch they merge into a more valuable dinosaur.
      • If your merges create gaps or openings in the field other dinosaurs may fall down to fill in.
      • Your merges can set off chain reactions.
    • Dropping dinosaurs
      • If you drop the dinosaur icon down into a groove it will often stick in there.
      • If you drop a dinosaur on another icon of the same type they will instantly merge.
      • If you drop a dinosaur flush on another different type of dinosaur you may cause your dinosaur icon to bounce off.
      • Hitting the side edges of other icons can in some cases cause them to push across.
    • Creating dinosaurs
      • When you drop dinosaurs into play you will get a random array of dinosaurs valued between 1 and 5.
      • The only way to create the higher valued dinosaurs is to merge to create them.
  • Levels
    • This game has 7 levels which are unlocked sequentially.
      • You can go back and replay previously beat levels at any time.
    • Winning vs losing
      • You beat a level by creating 3 of the target dinosaur.
      • You lose a level if the dinosaurs breach the red fill line & you do not make merges which get them below the fill line within a couple seconds.
      • This game offers unlimited continues, starting you at the beginning of the failed level.
  • Tips
    • Be careful when creating the target dinosaur for the level not to create 2 of them at the same time, or you can cause them to merge together to the dinosaur above the target goal.
    • When you start a new level try to organize the pieces at the bottom in ascending or descending order & keep them well organized for as long as possible.
    • When you do not have a great place to stack things sometimes it is best to stack them along the sides.
    • Evaluate where your next piece is before laying the current piece so you do not block a potential move.
