• Starting the Game
  • On the welcome screen:
    • Select the play button at the center to begin.
    • Select the speaker button on the bottom right corner of the screen
  • Your web browser automatically saves your game progress and best score.

• Game Play
  • Basic rules
    • You begin with an empty hexagonal board.
    • Drag and drop numbered pieces into the board.
      • Pieces can occupy between one and three spaces.
      • Rotate the pieces to make them fit better.
    • If you connect 3 or more identical pieces together, they will merge into a single-space piece that’s twice their original value.
      • The pieces tend to merge in the direction of where you laid down the last piece.
      • If placing a piece creates another valid group somewhere, however, the pieces will merge in the direction where another will form.
      • This will allow you to merge several groups in one turn.
    • Keep playing until you run out of space.
    • On the game over screen are the following buttons:
      • Select the home button on the left to quit and return to the welcome screen.
  • Scoring
    • You earn 1-3 points for every piece you place onto the grid. The more spaces a piece takes, the more points it’s worth.
    • You also earn points when your tiles merged.
      • The base number of points is 14 for a group of three.
      • You gain extra points every time you merge multiple groups in a single move (called a combo in-game).
    • Your best score appears on the game over screen.
  • Gems and power ups
    • Gems
      • You start each game with 300 gems.
        • You earn 1 more gem from merging clusters of special numbered pieces marked with a gem.
        • These special clusters appear at random.
      • Use the gems you’ve earned to pay for the game’s two power ups.
    • Power ups
      • Hammer power up
        • This costs 50 gems.
        • Hammer power ups let you remove one specific piece from the board.
      • Discard power up
        • This costs 50 gems.
        • Discard power ups let you toss a piece and replace it with a new, random one.
