• Starting the Game
  • At the center of the welcome screen:
    • Select Play to begin.
    • Select Help to open the game’s tutorial screen.

• Game Play
  • Basic rules
    • You begin with 6 clear lines.
    • A fruit tile (one of the first three) will descend from above.
      • Select a spot to place it in, then drop it there.
      • The next fruit, shown on the top center, will now start falling.
      • Repeat the process for as long as you can.
    • Fruit tiles have a number value, which make them easy to track.
    • Drop fruit tiles next to those of identical value to merge them.
      • Tiles merge in the direction of the one you dropped.
      • Merging two identical tiles will result in a tile that’s twice the value.
      • Merging three tiles will result in a tile that’s twice the value of two tiles merged.
      • Select the fruit chart to keep track of which fruit merges into what.
    • Keep merging fruit tiles to keep the growing stack of tiles short.
    • Form the watermelon (worth 2048).
    • Don’t let the stack reach the top of the screen:
      • Once you’re close to the top, a red line appears.
      • You cannot move falling fruits that are on one side of the tallest part of the stack to the other until it is brought down.
      • You must bring down the stack as quickly as you can. Otherwise, it’s game over.
    • On the game over screen, select Play to start a new session.
  • Scoring
    • Each pair you merge is worth 2 points.
    • You can compare your current and best scores on the game over screen.
  • Tips
    • Try to keep each column in numerical order by only placing lower valued tiles atop it. If you get a stack out of order you can merge to either side to pull the out-of-order tile across to another column.
    • One way to speed up play is to make sets of 3 rather than pairs, so that you do a double merge (e.g. from 16 to 64). Create 3 in a row horizontally or arrange identically valued tiles in an L-shaped pattern.
