      • Collect as much treasure as you can.
      • Don’t let the Pyro Paladin’s life points hit zero.
      • Clear all 54 cards to escape the dungeon.
    • Basic rules
      • Drawing and equipping
        • You automatically deal 4 cards at the start of the game.
        • Select the following cards and drag and drop them to your hand or backpack storage:
          • Shield cards: Protects you from monster attacks
          • Spell cards: Lets you attack monsters
          • Treasure cards: Lets you collect gold
          • Potion cards: Replenishes your health when equipped
        • Cards equipped on the left and right hand are ready for use.
        • The number on every card indicates their hit point value (or in the case of treasure, the amount you’ll receive from collecting them).
          • The number on spell cards, for instance, indicates how much damage they’ll inflict monster cards.
          • This means that any special card with an effect that attacks cards’ hit points will also affect every other card unless they specify that they only hit monsters.
      • Dealing with monsters
        • Monsters have an attack strength that doubles as their hit points.
        • If you allow a monster to attack the Pyro-Paladin directly, he will lose life points.
        • To deal with monsters, you must either attack them with spell cards or drag them to the Pyro-Paladin or a shield.
          • Spell cards will decrease the monster’s hit points by the number specified.
            • If the spell’s hit points sur the monster’s, the monster is killed.
            • You will not get the card back.
          • Shield cards absorb some of the attack strength of the monster.
            • If it sures the monster’s hit points, the monster dies. Any remaining hit points can still be used against another monster.
            • If it doesn’t, any remaining attack is directed toward the Pyro Paladin.
            • In general, it’s better to divert attacks toward a shield to reduce their impact on the paladin.
      • Collectibles
        • Gold and potion cards are used for different things but respond in the same way.
          • Once they’re used up, they occupy your hands or storage until three empty spaces are available.
          • You can equip them on the hands or in storage.
        • Gold cards can be collected by placing them in hands or in storage.
          • They give you a sum of treasure that is added to your total.
          • They pay out regardless of where you store them.
      • Discarding
        • If you can’t use any cards or have no slots available, you can opt to discard.
        • Discarding spell and shield cards grants you treasure.
        • Discarding treasure cards, meanwhile, will cancel out their value.
      • Skipping
        • Know when to fold them, as they say in poker. If you have too many enemies, consider using the skip option.
        • The skip option is available if you haven’t touched any of the newly drawn cards.
          • If you play any of the 4 cards you will be unable to skip.
          • You can play a spell card from your hand onto the board, provided it does not completely destroy any of the cards from the deal.
        • Drawing new cards will inflict 5 damage.
          • This cost increases with each use by 2 life points within the same game.
            • The second turn costs 7 life points.
            • The third usage costs 9 life points.
            • And so on.
          • When to use it
            • Often, this is preferable as multiple high-level monsters can be difficult to beat, especially with the uncertainty of drawing cards at random.
            • Another time when it can make sense to use it is if your inventory cards are full and you are dealt 3 or 4 gold cards.
            • We discourage you from relying on it, especially early in the game.
    • Winning vs. losing
      • You keep the gold you earn win or lose, though you get an extra 50 units of gold if you complete the deck.
      • You win when you’ve discarded all 54 cards while still having at least 1 life point.
        • On the win screen, select Next to return to the game over screen.
      • If you lose your life points at any stage of the game, it’s game over.
        • As with the win screen, select Next on the game over screen to return to the welcome screen.
        • There are points where the game becomes unwinnable. It’s preferable to die because you still get to keep your money that way.
    • Special cards
      • There are 18 special cards, which provide you with a special ability to use in a specific part of the game.
      • Special cards are drawn at random.
      • To use them:
        • Equip them as you would with a spell or shield.
        • Once equipped, drag and drop them to the Pyro-Paladin or to the monster cards to apply them.
      • View the details of each card by selecting them and holding.
        • You can also select the new card option on the bottom center of the welcome screen or check out our table below.
    • Achievements
      • Achievements are key actions repeated a specific number of times.
      • Reaching an achievement comes with an in-game cash prize, which can help you unlock more cards.
      • Select the achievements button to view all the game’s achievements and their payouts.
  • Target Audience
    • The game is suited for players who like fighting strategy card games.
    • The game has no adult themed content.

Advanced Play Strategy 5y5v2b

In this game the order you play cards matters. Some general tips & tricks:

  • Storing
    • If you have a large health card on the board and do not want to use it right away consider storing it in your backpack until you are ready to use it.
    • If you have a card you may want to later discard you can store it in your backpack. Place cards which you may want to discard either directly to the discard area, or set them in your backpack.
    • If you place cards in your hands they can’t easily be moved to the discard pile.
  • Fighitng order
    • If you have the ultimate card it makes sense to drain your health down low before using it, then add to your health, so that you first attack strong & then have more health at the end of battle.
    • If you are going to boost your health be sure you battle what enemies you can while retaining at least one hit point, as you can not fill past 13. Filling first and then battling means you will be below 13.
  • Discarding
    • If you are going to drag special cards or positive cards to the lower right to cash them in you get no credit for dragging gold cards there. You do get gold credits for any health potions, ordinary spells, or shields,
    • Shields tend to be less flexible than spells, so if you have to discard one or the other it is generally better to discard the shields.
