• Starting the Game
  • At the center of the welcome screen are the following controls:
    • Select Play to begin.
    • Select Shop to open the game’s shop screen.
  • Select the enlarge button on the top left corner to switch between windowed and full screen modes.
  • Select the speaker button on the bottom right corner to turn the game’s audio on or off.
  • Your web browser automatically saves your game progress and high score.

• Game Play
  • Basic rules
    • Shoot the puck into the goal.
      • Flick the puck into the goal.
      • Hit the targets before they fade to gain a bonus.
    • Avoid the goalie and the other defenders.
      • You start with only one defender.
      • As you score, more defenders appear.
  • Attempts
    • The game gives you 3 attempts to shoot the puck.
      • Each time you miss, you lose an attempt.
      • You do not lose an attempt when you score a goal.
    • Lose all your attempts and it’s game over.
    • You can gain new attempts when you hit the targets.
      • You can carry a maximum of 3 spare attempts at a time.
      • As the game progresses hitting targets gets harder because defensemen get in the way.
      • You shouldn’t aim specifically for the targets if you already have 3 spare attempts as it is quite easy to hit the shot wide, or knock the puck off the goal posts.
  • Score
    • You earn 1 point for every goal you make.
      • As you score goals the game games more difficult.
      • Initially you face 1 defenseman and the goalie.
      • At 3 goals you face 2 defensemen and the goalie.
      • At 8 goals you face 3 defensemen and the goalie.
    • You can unlock 4 other pucks based on your score.
      • Cheese – themed after a cheese round with a wedge cut out, unlocks after 10 goals.
      • Can – themed after a can of tuna fish, unlocks after 20 goals.
      • Hero – themed after Captain America, unlocks after 35 goals.
      • Pink – like an air hockey paddle, unlocks after 50 goals.
    • The unlocks require you to score a number of goals in a single game, rather than a cumulative total sum of goals across games.
  • Tips
    • Movement
      • Some defensemen move while others do not. Plan your shots accordingly.
      • Most defensemen stay stationary or slide at a fairly consistent speed from the start.
      • Goalies may indicate which way they are likely to slide based on which direction they shuffle their feet.
    • Aiming
      • Small movements left or right have large impacts on your shot angle.
      • It is usually best to aim for an open section of the net not too close to either edge.
      • If you aim dead center the goalie typically stops the puck most of the time.
      • You can left click the mouse and slide straight up while holding the left click, hold the shot for a while, then do a slight up and left or up and right movement just before releasing to adjust your shot angle.
    • Perspective
      • Sometimes you shoot from directly perpendicular to the net & sometimes you shoot from an angle.
      • Shooting from an angle requires greater precision on your aim as the effective net cross section you can hit is smaller.
    • Retrying
      • If you get off to a bad start click the forfeit button.
