• Starting the Game
  • On the welcome screen, select Play.
• Game Controls
  • Desktop
    • With your mouse, left click on the spaces to lay down a tile.
  • Touchscreen devices
    • Tap on the screen with your fingers to lay down a tile on the spaces.
  • Controls and indicators (top row, left to right):
    • Top row:
      • Home button
      • Score
      • Speaker button
    • Bottom row:
      • Change background
      • Next tile
      • Change tile (not currently enabled)
• Game Play
  • Basic rules.
    • The playing field contains 25 cells arranged in a 5×5 grid.
    • Place a coin tile in an open spot on the grid.
      • The type of tile you will lay down is shown on the bottom center of the screen.
      • The tiles you can lay down vary in values between 1 and 3.
    • Put 2 or more coin tiles of identical values adjacent to one another to merge them.
      • The new tile will be a value higher than the previous tiles regardless of how many tiles merged to form them (you will create a 3 if you merge together 2 or 3 tiles valued at 2).
      • Tiles will merge toward the direction of the last tile you laid down.
      • If the new tile can merge with a larger-valued tile, the larger tile will merge toward the more recently created tile.
    • Keep merging tiles for as long as you can.
      • When you cover the entire grid with tiles, it’s game over.
    • When you notice numbers forming a grid pattern, you risk reaching a game over.
      • Numbers forming grids with only a one-space gap in the middle don’t have enough space to merge numbers.
      • Try to fill the edges of the playing field first & leave at least 2 spots open whenever possible.
      • Plan your merges so that you keep creating higher valued stones that merge in a chain reaction with other stones so that you keep creating open spaces as you progress through the game.
  • Scoring
    • Each number you merge is worth 1 point.
    • The more merges you create, the higher your score will be.
