• Starting the Game
  • Press the Enter key or the Space Bar to start the game, which will lead you to the tutorial screen.
  • Left click or hit the Space Bar again to start your first battle.
• Game Controls
  • Desktop
    • Use the left and right arrow keys to scroll across the 3 columns where you can choose items from.
    • Tap the spacebar to select an item.
    • Press the Escape button to exit full screen mode.

    • Tap the boxes on the screen to select items.
  • Controls & indicators
    • Your character has hit points shown directly beneath them.
    • Under your health are your weapons points and shield points.
    • Your character icon standing above one of the rows has a cooldown number above his head.
    • All the above data points are also shown for your opponent who is on the right side of the screen.
• Game Play
  • Basics
    • This is a fighting game where you play as a ninja battling five other ninjas one at a time.
      • Each player has a set number of hit points & whoever goes to zero loses the fight.
    • On your fight you can select from 3 different columns.
      • Each column has 3 different items in it & you grab the item off the top.
      • Each time you grab an item the other items move up a row and another item is added to the bottom.
    • Items
      • Potion – restores a hit point.
      • Shield – provides a protective layer which takes damage before your core health is harmed.
      • Swords – attack your opponent’s health.
        • Wood swords take 3 hit points.
        • Gold swords take 5 hit points.
  • Levels
    • This game has 5 levels, with each fighter being its own level.
      • You can’t replay previously beat levels without starting the game over again.
      • As you advance through the levels the fighters get more difficult & have more hit points.
    • Winning vs losing
      • You win a level if your opponent reaches zero hit points.
      • You lose a level if you lose all your health.
      • You can replay failed levels an unlimited number of times.
  • Tips
    • Health
      • Early in the fight while you have full health avoid collecting health potions unless you are grabbing them simply to get to items you want beneath them.
        • If your health is full then grabbing shields allows you to store more hit points in reserve as the shield takes damage before you lose health.
        • If your health is less than 10 and the playing field is mostly full of potions try to quickly pick up as many health potions as needed to ensure your opponent can not take you out.
        • Sometimes you have to grab items you do not want because the items you do want are located below them in the same column.
    • Speed
      • You and your opponent have cooldown times above your heads, but you can often grab many objects for each object your opponent grabs.
      • Tapping the spacebar quickly will let you attack faster, and that will likely mean you win provided you fight with decent strategy.
    • Dualing swords
      • If you and your opponent throw swords at the same time then they partially cancel out each other, and whoever has more attack points of damage then has that damage done to the other opponent.
      • In general you should prefer to throw swords over restoring health & building shields, since sword throws:
        • harm your opponent
        • may block incoming swords (if the timing overlap)
        • can do multiple points of damage per turn rather than restoring simply a point or two of health
