• Starting the Game
  • Press the START button at the bottom center of the welcome screen to bring up the level select screen.
    • Levels are unlocked sequentially.
    • Your web browser automatically saves your game progress.

    • Jump by pressing the up arrow key.
    • Move left by pressing the left arrow key.
    • Move right by pressing the right arrow key.
    • On some stages where it seems impossible to complete you may have to use your mouse left click button to select and move either your character, the key, a platform, or the blue gate.

    • Use the on-screen controls.
      • The move left and move right buttons are in the lower left corner of the screen.

    • This is a simple room escape game with logic puzzle twists baked in.
    • Read the text in the center of the screen and try to figure out how this version of the room is different from other levels.
    • Grab the key (mostly, though on a few levels don’t grab the key!) and then make your way through the exit in the lower right.

    • This game has 25 stages which are unlocked sequentially.
      • You can go back and replay previously beat levels at any time.
    • Winning vs losing
      • You beat a level by grabbing the key and safely exiting through the door.
      • You lose a level if you run into spikes, or if you collect a key that you are not supposed to collect on the couple puzzles which require you to skip grabbing a key or only grab one specific key out of a set.
  • Tips
    • Other than on stages 14 (left wall moves right) and 16 (you quickly turn invisible) it is worth going slow and taking your time on each stage, since the levels do not have a level timer.
    • When you are on a spinning stage and are disoriented by the screen angle do not make difficult jumps or movements until after the screen is better aligned.

If you get stuck on any of the levels you can use the following tips for each stage.

Warning: spoiler alert!

1. Simply exit.
2. Grab the key, then exit.
3. Don’t collect the key.
4. Side to side movement controls are backward.
5. Collect all 5 keys one at a time.
6. Level is upside down and backward, with controls also backward.
7. Endlessly spinning stage. You can wait to make your jumps for when the stage is close to upright to make it less disorienting.
8. Movable platform on lower left. After making it to the middle drag that platform across so you can use it to jump to grab the key in the upper right.
9. Collect only the correct key, which is the one near the top slightly left of center.
10. Stage is zoomed in up close.
11. Has a heavy key which you have to kick across to the blue gate.
12. Stage is zoomed out & spins 45 degrees counterclockwise each time you jump.
13. Your character moves glacially slow.
14. You must quickly run right as the left wall fills in chasing you toward the right.
15. Use your mouse left click button to select your character and drag it to the exit while avoiding running into any spikes.
16. Your character quickly goes invisible.
17. Press the pause button then resume play for the invisible key to appear and destroy the blue gate. Alternatively you can wait 42 seconds for the key to appear. Why 42 seconds? That’s the answer to the universe, of course.
18. Level platforms are invisible, so you have to their locations from prior stages.
19. Use your mouse to drag the key to the exit & then move the player.
20. Control the key like a player to get it to the blue gate & then move your player.
21. Use the mouse to drag the blue gate out of the way.
22. The blue gate disappears after 10 seconds.
23. There is an invisible key a step or two left of where you start the level.
24. Use your mouse left click to “knock” on the blue gate 3 times to destroy it.
25. You can walk through the blue gate and through the exit without being required to collect the key.
