Swing through the city, complete mission challenges, buy upgrades and defeat the mighty Mysterio.
- Starting the Game

- The next screen will show you the mission goals. Click the X to start the game.
- Your goal achievements and character upgrades are automatically stored in your web browser.

- Make a note of the mission objectives at the beginning of each round. The first round objectives are:
- Rack up a five combo.
- Bounce on three enemies.
- Grab 100 spidey coins.
- The first challenge is to successfully swing from web to web. Time your exit towards the top of the arc of your swing and click to start your next swing before you get too low, else you may plummet to the ground. The game ends if Spiderman falls.
- Swing through the enemies to defeat them.
- Hit multiple enemies in a row for a combo.
- When you’ve collected enough coins, you’ll see a flashing gold coin on various lamp-posts. You can use these to catapult forwards.
- Fly through the hoops for extra points or to meet an objective.
- If you come across a glider drone, you can fly it higher or lower with your left mouse button.
- At the end of each round, you can buy improvements with your collected cash. These upgrades include:
- Extra speed.
- Acrobatics.
- Web shield.
- Earn more currency from coins.
- Increase your chance of coming across a Glider drone.
- At the end of each mission, you’ll see a spider button. Click this to see the upgrade screen. Select each purchase.
- Click on the trophy at the beginning of the round to see how many enemies you have defeated. You need to defeat 100 enemies to get a full trophy cabinet.
- Make a note of the mission objectives at the beginning of each round. The first round objectives are:

This is an endless scrolling game where you play as Spider-Man. Mysterio is attacking the city, and it’s up to Spidey to stop him. As Spider-Man, travel through the city by swinging. Along the way, collect coins, defeat enemies, and avoid Mysterio’s obstacles. Click to fire a line of webbing and hold to swing. To defeat enemies, ram them. Rinse and repeat for as long as you need. The game only ends when Spider-Man falls or is knocked down.
Time your releases with care. You can find that Spidey can jump quite far before you need to fling another cord of web. This will be useful if you need to avoid some of Mysterio’s traps. Spider-Man only has one hit point barring special circumstances and upgrades. Avoid hitting anything during the first few runs.
Across the city are power ups like gates, magnets, and drones. These can give you a quick boost or help you collect coins faster. You can also latch onto poles and cranes to do amazing acrobatics. These also serve as a power up gate.which also give you a boost in distance and an edge against enemies.
By collecting coins, you can upgrade Spidey’s abilities and help him travel further. You also get extra defenses against Mysterio’s obstacles and enemies that fire back. Unlike other endless runners, you have 25 different goals to meet in each run of the city. There’s plenty to aim for rather than travel distance. Plus, the game itself is quite fun despite its simplicity, so there’s plenty of replay value.
