On level 8 there is a bug where a block which needs hit by the sword twice to grab the crown is inaccessible. You can still beat the level without collecting the crown & unlock the next level. The developer has been informed of this bug & when it has been fixed we will update the game to reflect that change.

• Starting the Game
  • Left click or tap anywhere on the welcome screen to begin.
  • Select the enlarge button on the top right corner to switch between windowed and full screen modes.

    • Navigate using the W, A, S, and D keys.
    • Attack and collect using the space bar.
  • Touchscreen devices
    • Although this game might load on mobile devices, its controls were optimized for desktops with keyboards.
• Game Play
  • Level selection
    • Choose between 3 realms with 10 levels each from the level selection screen.
    • Levels and realms are unlocked in sequence. Only the first level of the first realm is playable at the start of the game.
    • You can replay any of the levels and realms you’ve already unlocked.
  • Interface
    • Your remaining hit points are shown on the top left corner. Below it is the name of the level.
    • On the top right corner are the following buttons:
      • Reset button: Brings the level back to the way it was at the start.
      • Pause button: Opens the pause menu and briefly stops the game.
    • The game’s instructions appear on the top center of the first level.
  • Basic rules
    • Objective
      • Retrieve the crown.
        • The crown is located in a treasure chest somewhere in the room.
        • In later levels, this is often a hidden chamber behind a wall.
        • Break open the treasure chest to get the crown.
      • Avoid enemies and hazards.
      • Exit the level.
    • Clearing paths
      • Use your sword to destroy pots to clear your way.
      • You can also use your sword to push aside blocks.
        • Blocks can also be used to plug up chasms.
        • You can’t retrieve blocks if they’ve been backed into a corner.
      • Clearing walls let you see hidden parts of levels. These walls are lighter in color than the rest of the walls.
    • Hazards and hit points
      • Hit points
        • You start the game with 3 hit points.
        • Lose all your hit points and you die.
        • Getting hit by spikes
      • Enemies
        • Enemies will injure you on , costing you one hit point.
        • Attacking an enemy is the only way to get rid of them.
        • You can also try to sneak past them.
      • Spikes
        • Some levels have retracting spikes on the floor.
        • To get past them, simply wait for them to go down.
        • If you walk toward them while they’re up, you automatically die.
  • Tips
    • Move with care. Make sure to consider all possible paths before moving forward with actions you can’t reverse.
    • If you’re ever stuck, use the reset button to start over.
