• Starting the Game
  • Press the light blue and white start button in the lower center of the welcome screen to start the game.
    • Your web browser automatically saves your game progress including beat levels, cash savings, and purchased upgrades.
  • The upper right corner of the welcome screen has a sound control button.
  • The lower left corner has buttons for game developer information and deleting your game progress.
  • The lower right corner has buttons for achievements and more games.
• Game Controls
  • Desktop
    • Movement
      • Use the up arrow key to move up a row.
      • Use the down arrow key to move down a row.
    • Attacking
      • Press the A key to shoot.
      • Press the S key to call in helicopter .
      • Press the 1, 2, or 3 keys to switch between the 3 gun options (presuming you have all guns unlocked).
        • You can also use the mouse cursor for switching between guns.
  • Touchscreen devices
    • Use the on-screen buttons.
      • The lower left has buttons for moving up or down a row.
      • The bottom center has buttons for switching between your guns.
      • The bottom right has buttons for shooting & calling in helicopter .
  • Controls & indicators
    • The current level number is shown in the upper left corner.
    • The top center shows your cumulative game score.

  • Basics
    • This is a row-based base defense game similar to games from the Plants vs Zombies.
      • You lose if a single zombie gets past your defenses.
      • At the end of each stage you can use the income earned from defeating zombies to upgrade your defenses.
    • Your goal in this game is to destroy every zombie before they make it across the screen to the left edge.
      • Shoot incoming zombies and use your unlimited ammo to keep firing at all times.
      • If the screen gets saturated or you start to fall behind, you can call on a helicopter for back up .
  • Levels
    • This game has 20 stages which are unlocked sequentially.
      • You can’t go back and replay previously beat levels without erasing your game progress and starting the game over.
    • Winning vs losing
      • You beat a level by defeating all the zombies on it.
      • You lose a level if any zombie makes it to the left edge of the screen.
      • This game offers unlimited continues starting you at the beginning of the failed level.
  • Upgrades
    • Zombies leave you anywhere from 10 to 40 coins each, with harder zombies giving you greater income.
    • At the end of each stage you can use your coin earnings to purchase upgrades.
      • In this game you can upgrade guns, defenses, and helicopter .
      • Each feature can be upgraded 6 times & your upgrades last from level to level.
    • First gun
      • The first gun costs 100, 130, 160, 250, 400, and 550 to upgrade.
      • You upgrade fire rate, damage, fire rate, shoot two bullets at a time, increase fire rate, and then increase speed.
    • Defense
      • Defense upgrades cost 70, 130, 160, 250, 350, and 450.
      • Each defense upgrade increases your health or hit points.
    • Helicopter
      • The helicopter upgrades cost 140, 160, 180, 250, 350, and 500.
      • You upgrade fire rate, damage, load speed, fire rate, load speed, and fire rate.
    • Second gun
      • The second gun is unlocked when you reach level 7.
      • Upgrades cost 250, 350, 400, 450, 500, and 600.

    • Upgrade order
      • This is a game where a strong offense is better than a strong defense, since you keep facing an unending set of enemies.
      • Upgrade the first gun first whenever you can.
      • Cycle through upgrades of the helicopter & your defense when those are cheaper and you can not afford the next upgrade of the first gun.
      • We generally used the first gun until the third gun was available & upgraded the third gun right after it was available, then switched to using the third gun at the start of each stage.
        • After earning enough points one can go back and power up the second gun as well, though we did well going from first gun to third gun.
    • Strategy
      • If a single zombie gets past your defenses you lose, so do not be afraid to use the helicopter early and often.
      • When no enemies are on screen move up and down across all 3 rows, shooting at least once in each row so that as enemies appear they get hit by your fire.
      • When you have the third gun available & fully upgraded the grenades it bounces in the middle row can in some cases hit the targets in the top & bottom rows, making the middle row a good spot to hang out.
